Welp, my semester is over. One month of reckless, drunken abandon to look forward to before I start my 7 month pillage to a BA and a minor. Ha!

This is the last week of my semester. All's I got left to do is a spanish chapter test and oral evaluation, law final and editorial writing final. Then I just have to do one more assignment in playwriting and I'm done. Meh... I'm ready to be done. May hopefully will be a fun month, the band as two shows lined up and there's an art festival to attend. We should be playing in it, but no can do (lame lame lame). Summer plans include: Spanish two (summer school, YAY!!), read Shortcomings and Ghost World, and to continue writing. I've told myself in the past that I wouldn't stop writing during the summer, but I almost always seem to. I've got a few pieces to work on and I will feel like a complete asshole if I don't finished them. Got enrolled for next semester. I'm taking Creative II, Creating the Poem, Graphic Novel Writing and Writing the Teleplay (I don't know what this class is about at all). I also have to take an intercession class for one credit-hour, because apparently I haven't given UCO enough money. Child Development. I'm just going to say it, What The Fuck!?! (sigh) The fall semester should be a blast though, hopefully it'll be pretty laid back. 12 hrs is a decent load, but I'll say on it so it'll be fun.

The tank is on E. I'm sick of doing things. Ah, one more week. I still need to take do two assignments in Playwriting, finish the term project for Law and take my finals. I just want to chill out and not have anything on my plate for a minute or two. Haha! Next semester is going to be badass though, all creative studies classes. So yeah, not much else.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! I'm running out of time in the semester. I suppose it is my fault for procrastination. Still, I could have more done if my group for law would meet so we can do the term project. Lame. I smashed a friends head into my coffee table this weekend, during a wrestling match. I didn't want to wrestle, but he just kept calling me out. Before I knew it he was falling into the table head first. He's okay though and we had a laugh afterwards. Gonna start a rewrite on both plays after the semester ends or when I get some free time. I'm ready for this semester to be over. Uh...

Hiddy-Ho Neighborooney!
Finished the play I was last working on. It's a take on a classic set up that I've seen several times. A man and woman get a divorce and the woman kicks the man out of the house. The man sends one of his male friends over to his wife's house to get something he needs and the woman treats her husbands friend like shit. It was done on Curb Your Enthusiasm really well. Before Larry David knew what was happening his agents wife is tossing her husbands porn collection on the bed and telling him to take it with him. I approached this set up, but with a gender reversal, by having the husband kick the wife out of the house. She then has to send a friend to get something for her and chaos ensues. It seems to have gotten a decent response from everyone I've shown it to. I had a thought last night of making it in to a short film. I can already think of a few friends who would be perfect for the two roles and people with cameras. Might be fun. It should be in black and white so people will take me seriously too. Haha! Other then that, I'm swamped with papers and term projects. Meh... only a few more weeks, right? I think I'll come out of this semester all right, however. It has been a fairly easy and fun semester for me. Aight mo' writin' ta do. TTYL.

Today (April 5) was the 13th anniversary of Allen Ginsberg's death and the 16th anniversary of Kurt Cobain's. Continuing to work on a new play, which uses a gender reversal theme. I want it to be funnier, but how? I used to be funny, when I was young. Haha! Maybe I've been reading too many dramas lately. I just finished "The Browning Version" by Rattigan later last week. I really enjoyed it because Rattigan did such a good job at hiding who the real villain was. The plot description was amazing too, it helped the overall flow of the play, because there was a lot of people entering and exiting. On to "27 Wagons Full of Cotton" by Tennessee Williams. Just started it today and I'm already taken by it. The beginning is so explosive. So yeah need to be funnier. And start helping out around the house with cleaning and such. Or just something else so I can think. I can't wait until summer's over.
