Blah, Blah. Today sucks. I was told at work today if school was cancelled tomorrow, then I would have to come in. This is because I am one of the lucky few who live closest to work. Damn, I never thought I would say this but, I wish I lived in Harrah. Ha. Just the nature of the beast I suppose. Greed is what is destroying this country, I just wish more people knew that I guess. Writing a play now. Don't really know where to go with it right now. Not listening to any music at the moment either. Silence is weird. The kind of weird that makes the hairs stand up. I got nothing else. Sorry.

Hey There,
I'm currently listening to Sonic Youth, in case that matters. I like art, music in particular, and I try to be around as much of it as possible. The state of music today is a sad, darken one, left bloody and broken by The Jonas Brothers. I don't listen to the radio. I had a thought the other day to start making lists. These lists would be of anything, to-do or otherwise. I think that will help me stay focused. I started writing when I was a freshman at OSU, because I enjoyed my Comp I class. I remember having an assignment where we had to analysis gender and personality in a Hollywood movie and write about it. I chose Fight Club. That was, unexpectedly, my first reporting assignment given to myself. I looked at the assignment as a news story. The next semester I changed my major to Journalism. I'm been at UCO for two semesters now. Playwriting is my second Creative Writing course, after taking Prof. Givan's Creative Writing I, my first semester here. That class was my first attempt at writing creatively; until then I had only written for news and reviews. During Givan's class I wrote one satire, one short story, and 4 or 5 poems. Also around this time I began reading the Beats, which influences my writing greatly. I hope to further my writing skills throughout this class, and gain a better understanding of different aspects of writing and style. One dream of mine is to write screenplays for movies. Some friends of mine have kicked around the idea of doing a movie, black and white.
