Week 2

My head is spinnin' and it feels alright. The second week of school is hear and gone and I have Labor Day to take it easy and hopefully get caught up on some reading. This past week I had to finish The Road for mondays Screenwriting class, which I did by the skin on my teeth. For Comedy and Satire, I had to finish A Summer of Naked Swim Parties and discuss all week. In British Poetry, we covered Hardy, Yeats, Lawrence, Sassoon, Owen, and Sitwell. My favorite poem was Sassoon's "Represesson of War Experience," which is about a man going insane with trying to forget his experiences in WWI. The pain and terror of the speakers voice gives this piece a rather disturbing feel.
